Continuing with the RSC Twinkler quilt. I have machine quilted vertically and horizontally around the blocks and have now started to hand stitch around the stars using a fawn coloured Perle thread.
I have been doing lots of baby knitting to donate to needy Expectant Mums in London.
Three sets of cardigans and little hats:
And a basket weave blanket which finishes at 24” square.
Beautiful work

ReplyDeleteThose cardys are delightful, and with matching little hats, they made me smile! Your 'twinklers' quilt is great, I do love a combo of machine & hand quilting.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you're now on with the quilting of Twinkler. Reading that you're using. I'm just about to hand quilt my Liquorice Allsorts quilt but having trouble finding a needle sharp enough but with a eye easy enough to thread the Perle through.
ReplyDeleteLovely work, Linda! You’re a very talented knitter! xo
